What are we up to? Well we are always staying busy with projects whether it be Articles, Videos, or Backed Web Projects.

On this page we will list major projects that we are working on and keep the current status updated.

Synopsis
Allow users to register an account on the site to upload there own videos, We will then have a “User Videos” section that will showcase the videos submitted by users. Twice a month we will pick the top rated video and have it featured and the user will win a prize.

MINI SITES

Expand Your Sandbox

The RV project, and others, will be featured under a new sub-site of Techimoto’s called “Expand Your Sandbox”. You can tune in to this site for a number of adventures and tips on how to retire without a lot of money (we refuse to let the capitalist pigs win! Rave on children of the 60’s!). Sometime this year, we also hope to bring you attractive options for living in Panama and/or Mexico, where many expats have already found their “promised land” and have done so within 1/2 or more the cost of U.S. residency. For example, did you know that a couple can still live very “comfortably” in most parts of Mexico, on less than $1200/month? These articles will be accompanied by quality high-def video for your viewing pleasure.

Environmentally Yours

Another change coming soon will be the addition of another Techimoto sub-site called “Environmentally Yours”. We feel strongly about some of the negative impacts we, as humans, have done to our earthly mother ship, and want to dedicate this blog-site to not only the bad news, but also the good news on progress towards healing the earth and new movements to correct some of our errant ways. The earth is our host and support system, not to mention extremely beautiful. We have to figure out how to tread lightly while guests on our mother-earth, and leave no footprint. Most importantly, we have to figure this out soon!

RV Series

On May 10th, we start an across-country RV trip in a 35 foot Motorhome. We will have on board, a live web cam, and wil be following the original Route 66 East all the way to Chicago. We’ll be making many stops of course at some of the more interesting sites along the way, and get additional video footage with our High-Def video camera. These videos will be posted as a kind of “mini-series” on the Techimoto website. A “sub-plot” to the series will be how two of us onboard for this trip, Jim and Abby WIlson, typical baby boomers, travel and (hopefully) have fun . We will also be discussing some environmental issues associated with RVs. For example, if RV owners were to migrate south in the winter, and north in the summer, thus saving on heating and cooling costs, what is their carbon footprint? Do they break even, or better?

Live GPS and WebCam

Synopsis
We will be running a live map on our site with our current position and a live video feed during our RV Series across the country on Route 66.
