Next-gen Android phone has no physical keyboard

The next-gen T-Mobile USA G1 Android smartphone goes on sale Aug. 5, but unlike the previous G1 that had a swivel-out physical keyboard the next-gen version does not, but it still has the 3.2 inch touch screen.
