Black and White Photo

Ever wanted to make normal photo into a black and white photo? It’s becoming more of a fashionable thing these days to have black and white photos, why? I don’t know but here’s a very quick way to change your photos into grayscale.

Open the photo you wish to change black and white, for this example I’m going to use a forest photo.

You can take this image for the tutorial until you’re sure of how to make the photo black and white.

Now them, this is really simple, all we;re going to do is click Image>Adjustments>Desaturate by clicking that you’ve just made your photo black and white, here’s mine.

Easy eh? I’ve added a little extra effect to the photo to make it
slightly eroded. All I done was select my brush and made it 400px big
and made a few splodges in black.

Once I done that I set the opacity to 50% and I came up with this,

Easy eh?
