Stone Texture #2

Create a very fast stone texture with just a couple filters.

1. Create a 800×600 file, create new layer
(layer1)

2. Apply Filter –> Render —> Cloud

3. Apply Filter —> Render —> Different Cloud

4. Repeat step 3.

5. Go to channels panel, Ctrl+Click on Red chanel, to load the selection
from Red chanel

6. Click on “Save selection as Channel” (the 2nd button from
the left, at the bottom of the channels panel) , now we have a new channel,
Alpha 1.

7. go back out to layers panel, click on layer 1.

8. Apply filter —> Render —> Lighting effects, settings are
shown below:

now we get somethign like this

9. Ctrl+U, check colorize, and play around with the 3 bars, till you
get something pleasing.
