Abstract Gel

Learn how to create a multi colored abstract gel.

1.
Creat a 500×500 file, RGB mode, white background, foreground : black, fill
background with black

2. apply filter —> render —> lens flare, brightness: 100, lens
type: 50-300mm Zoom

3.
Ctrl+B (color balance), set cyan to -100, Blue: 100

4.
then press Ctrl+M (Cruve), adjust the curve line , see diagram below:

5.
apply filter –> distort –> wave, number of Generators: 6, wavelength
Min. 60, wavelength Max. 100, amplitude min. 1, amplitude max. 57 (you
might want adjust it to get something like this)

6.
duplicate background, CTRL+I inverse the color, then CTRL+F to repeat
the wave filter a few times, set the blending mod to Difference. play
around with colors
