Firey Neon Text

Create a firey neon text effect.

1) Make new
file with your own sizes. Now with the type mask tool type a text, I’ve
used “FireText”, then fill it with black. Please, use BLACK,
#000000, dont use red, blue or any color what run throught
your head. <— Make it easy for you.

2) Now go to Filter -> Stylize -> Find
Edges
, then Press CTRL F to do it again.

3) Press CTRL I to Invert the image. Go to Image
-> Rotate Canvas -> 90? CW.

4) Now go to Filter -> Stylize -> Wind
->
From the RIGHT. Press CTRL F to do it again.

5) Then go to Image -> Rotate -> 90?
CCW
. Now press CTRL U and check colorize, use this colors or
find your ones: 15 – 100 – -9

6) Now Press CTRL L and use this levels: 0 0.63 107…
you can try with something diferent but that what I’ve used to my tut.

And now you’re done… ! My final effect:
